Overview
This project was with the Designing for Curiosity Course at Georgia Tech and looked at creating an installation for the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. The final product was a VR headset stand that allowed children to view through the eyes of different animals that they might encounter in Atlanta. During this project, I was able to interview and talk to children to understand what they enjoyed about the project which proved to be both gratifying and humbling. Children are very honest with their feedback and there’s a lot that as adults we take for granted that do not understand with children. Simple things such as fine motor skills when it came to the button selections, and the labeling of the animals as not all the children were fully able to recognize the words.
