I’m a first-year master's student in the Human-Computer Interaction program @GeorgiaTech. I am particularly interested in UI/UX research as a way to combine my interests in cognition and creativity! I’ve fallen in love with the research process as it feels like solving a puzzle. My background is in Cognitive Science (HCI) and Linguistics!

Hi, I’m Irene!

Raccoon aims to slow down the increasing carbon emissions, that are a result of increasing waste in the landfill, by addressing the lack of information regarding trash sorting. I worked with other designers to research and create a prototype.

Blossom

This research project explored how to support the diverse goals that arise from individuals attending community networking events. I led and mentored a team through the design and research process: designed mobile UI, conducted Wizard-of-Oz studies, conducted qualitative analysis (e.g. interviews, thematic analysis), conducted quantitative analysis (e.g. descriptive, t-tests), and wrote a research paper.
